PlayBox works with schools and Multi Academy Trusts to plan and deliver purposeful, active and inclusive enrichment experiences that help pupils develop physically, socially and personally.

Using sport, physical activity, challenge and play as tools for enrichment, we create experiences around your pupils, your priorities and the outcomes you want to achieve. From progressive whole school enrichment programmes and Bike Basics to inflatable experiences, team building challenges, inter school competitions, wellbeing and reward days and unforgettable whole school celebrations, we bring together activities and experiences that pupils may not ordinarily encounter during the school day.

Build an Enrichment Day Around Your School

There isn’t one fixed PlayBox enrichment day.

We can combine different activities to create an experience around the outcomes your school wants pupils to achieve.

Whole School Enrichment Programmes

We can work with schools to create a progressive enrichment programme that develops with pupils as they move through primary school.

Rather than simply offering the same activities to every year group, experiences can be designed around the physical, social and personal development appropriate to each stage. Below is an example of how a progressive PlayBox enrichment programme could look across your school.

EYFS

Focus: Movement and Physical Development

Through imaginative physical challenges, children explore fundamental movement skills including running, jumping, climbing, balancing, throwing and catching.

KS1

Focus: Confidence and Independence

Bike Basics and Learn to Ride experiences help pupils develop balance, coordination and bike control while progressing at their own pace.

Lower KS2

Focus: Resilience and Challenge

PlayBox Bootcamp combines physical challenges, obstacle-based activities and team tasks that encourage pupils to challenge themselves and keep going when things become difficult.

Upper KS2

Focus: Teamwork and Leadership

Pupils work together through a series of collaborative challenges where communication, problem-solving and cooperation are essential.

Whole School Celebration Day

Finish the programme with a whole-school Ultimate End of Year Celebration designed as a celebration of pupils, achievement and the school community.

A combination of inflatables, obstacle courses and large-scale challenges creates a memorable end-of-year experience.
